Thanks to this Minecraft mod, users can optimize the gameplay by adding new recipe-viewing mechanics. Additionally, it comes with an improved graphics interface.
Craftguide
Craftguide is a simple-to-use recipe viewer mod for Minecraft that enables you to display a lot of information at once. What is more, it provides a few simple ways to quickly navigate it. You also have the possibility to access a list of every crafting recipe in the game.
Intuitive interface
The main focus of the modification has been on the use of a scrollbar. Basically, it relies on the common behavior where recipes added to any given mod tend to be grouped together to ensure users can navigate to themed sections.
The recent changes include making the graphical interface resizable. This is done to fill as much of the screen and accomplished by dragging the small blue triangular button in the lower right corner. Moreover, you are able to click on an item to filter the list to only show the recipes that require it, either as input or output.
Crafting
In order to create your own recipe, you need to place a crafting table, put a piece of paper in each corner of the grid, and fill in the edges with four books. You can also open it without needing an item via a keybind, which works even if you are playing on a server that does not have the mod installed.
Another advantage of using this program is the inclusion of small and shapeless recipes, with the latter having a visually distinct background. If you want to further enhance your gameplay by adding improved storage mechanics, you may use another modpack for Minecraft called BiblioCraft.
