Cool Timer is a Windows program for configuring custom sound alarms on the desktop. The interface can be personalized by changing the background image and clock color.

Main functionality

Users are able to switch between three operation modes:

countdown timer;
alarm clock;
stopwatch.

The first option provides a simple timer that can be started and stopped at any time. The alarm clock mode is useful for waking up in the morning. It is possible to select days of the week when the sound will be played. Moreover, there are options for changing the default audio file and adjusting the alarm volume.

Stopwatch

You can enable this mode from the context menu for measuring time to the hundredth of a second. There is a Split button for recording multiple lap records. You are able to start and stop the watch by clicking the corresponding controls.

Settings

Several background image options are available. Users can switch between them by double-clicking on an empty space in the main window. Style and color of the digits are adjustable as well.

Unlike in Shutdown PC Timer, it is possible to configure tasks like running an executable file or opening a webpage to be performed after the timer is expired.
