CodeWalker is a Windows program that offers users tools for displaying and editing GTA V maps. It is possible to move the camera around with the mouse as well as zoom in and out. Users can select separate objects and edit their properties.

How it works

It is necessary to have Grand Theft Auto V and NET Framework installed on the computer to use this utility. After clicking the included executable file you can specify the main game directory if it was not detected automatically.

The World View window is opened by default on first startup. It may take some time to load all components. Users can move around with WASD keys. Holding Shift will speed up the camera. It is possible to rotate the view by dragging the cursor with the pressed left button. The mouse wheel is utilized for zooming in and out of the picture. Alternatively, there is support for standard XBox controllers.

Editing objects

You are able to select any 3D model to view its characteristics. There are tools for rotating, scaling and moving the objects. Advanced ambient lighting parameters are available. It is easy to reverse any changes. After performing the required operations you can export the project to use it in the game.
