Clickteam Fusion is a Windows software for designing HTML5 games and applications. There is an extensive library of objects, backgrounds and other interface elements. Additionally, it is possible to develop unique physics for the game.

Included instruments

You can create a new project from scratch or use one of the provided templates. Various game objects such as the scoreboxes, powerups, start and finish points are available.

It is possible to create and modify unique events and in-game conditions. Keyboard shortcuts for different actions can be added. This utility contains three sample games with extensive instructions for beginners.

Design process

There is a graphics editor for creating new objects. It includes brushes, pens and other standard tools. You are able to adjust the size and opacity of any instrument. A large color palette is provided. It is possible to quickly draw any geometrical shapes and place text on the object. However, the utility offers you only limited graphics editing functionality. There are more powerful solutions for this purpose like Photoshop.

Users can design animations with multiple frames. The Direction Options tab contains settings for repeating the clip. There is a checkbox for looping the animation playback.

It is worth noting that Clickteam Fusion is a paid software. The free version does not have any time limitations but contains limited functionality.
