The main purpose of this professional network administration platform is creating custom access policies and configuring various authentication settings.
Cisco Secure Access Control System
Cisco Secure Access Control System is a Windows program oriented toward administrators of large corporate networks. It lets you control access to sensitive information on local servers by establishing strict identification policies.
Network configuration
Similar to Cisco Identity Services Engine, this application provides a sophisticated platform for managing client access parameters. There are advanced RADIUS and TACACS+ services for configuring complex security settings.
Tools for central management of all access policies are included. Users are able to create new rules for wireless, wired and remote VPN connection scenarios.
Please note that Cisco Secure Access Control System is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Advanced functionality
You can control access to remote devices in a local IPv4 or IPv6 network. Moreover, there are instruments for generating full activity reports to comply with modern auditing requirements.
Cisco Secure Access Control System runs on the Secure Network Server 3415 and 3495 appliances. Alternatively, it is possible to use existing Cisco 1121 Engine infrastructure with no additional configuration.
