ChemSketch is a Windows utility for generating complex chemical structures, including organics, polymers and organometallics. You can view the molecule in both 2D and 3D views. There is a toolbar with most common elements for quick construction of formulas.

How it works

The application contains instruments for drawing molecules and configuring connections between them. Users are able to edit individual bonds and atoms for precise corrections. The structure can be rotated and viewed from any angle to better understand internal links.

It is possible to visualize multi-stage chemical reactions. You can label arrows with specific experimental conditions. Pre-made templates of amino acids, aromatics, carbohydrates, steroids, sugars and other common compounds are provided.

Reports

Users can produce publication-ready figures for popular scientific journals such as ACS, RSC, Helvetica, etc. There are instruments for embedding chemical structures, schemes and reactions directly into Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents.

Please note that the free version of ChemSketch does not have access to the online chemical element database. However, it allows you to perform all basic operations as well as save or export the project.
