CatalystEX is a Windows utility that streamlines the process of 3D printing by automating a wide range of the tasks involved in slicing, support column generation and post processing model preparation. Supported printer types include Stratasys Dimension Elite, uPrint Plus, Prodigy, etc.

Model preparation

You can import 3D objects in several common formats by dragging and dropping files into the workspace. The layer resolution, model interior, support fill method and number of copies are adjustable. Moreover, it is possible to change the default measurement units and scale.

Instruments for automatic object slicing are provided. Resulting G code commands can be understood by all compatible printers. This process reduces manual intervention and ensures precise output quality.

Support generation

Like in EasyPrint 3D, users are able to quickly insert additional structures for overhangs and other delicate features. As a result, the model will be properly supported during the printing process.

All toolpaths are automatically optimized based on the selected material. Hardware settings such as the head temperature, ejection velocity and printing speed are tuned according to project specifications as well.
