Capture NX D is a Windows program that helps you view digital images in RAW format. The utility also includes tools for editing and converting pictures. Similar to Adobe Camera Raw, it supports a wide range of formats including JPEG and TIFF.

Preview

After launching the application, you need to select a folder that contains pictures. For ease of viewing, a directory structure is displayed on the left side of the main window. The program automatically recognizes photos in supported formats and displays a list or thumbnails.

It is possible to open the image and select the appropriate scale. The utility also allows you to get information about the digital camera model, as well as date, time and geographical coordinates of the shooting location.

Editing

The program offers various tools for processing photos. Users can crop the image and change its aspect ratio. Moreover, they are able to adjust the brightness and contrast levels. A histogram that displays the distribution of red, green, and blue pixels is also available.

Additionally, the application enables you to convert photos and save them in different formats. Furthermore, there is an option to print pictures directly from the main window.
