BySoft FreeRAM is a Windows program for automatic memory optimization. Similar to RamBooster, there are tools for clearing up cached data, temporary files and unused processes. Moreover, an option to defragment the RAM is provided.

Monitoring and optimization

The main window contains detailed information about system memory. Users are able to view the amount of free RAM and load index. Additionally, there is an uptime counter and CPU utilization indicator.

It is possible to click the Free RAM button and select the required amount of RAM to free up. You can clear up to 80% of system memory without any technical issues.

Parameters

Users are able to configure automatic RAM optimization in the Options menu. There are tools for setting a custom minimum memory level, amount of space to free, number of retries and update interval.

You can create a new keyboard shortcut to quickly clear the RAM. The visual appearance of the main interface is customizable.

Instruments for enabling manual cache tuning are included. Users are able to change the minimum and maximum size values as well as define the chunk block length.
