Braina is a personal assistant program for Windows that enables you to communicate with your PC and web browser via written or spoken commands. It was designed as a messenger service for processing text and vocal input. You are able to configure different voice settings, in order to help the tool recognize yours easier. Besides choosing a gender, you may opt for either of two accents, namely British and American.

Search

One of the main advantages of using this utility is its powerful search engine, capable of finding the object of your query within local files or items on the Internet. You can command Braina to search for your favorite songs, on YouTube or on similar websites, to play videos or look for articles in international newspapers.

Moreover, you have the option to specify the URL or name of the page you wish to access. You may search for information on a particular topic or find synonyms for words in online dictionaries.

Notes and calculations

The application gives you the possibility to perform a wide range of calculations, from simple sums and fractions, to estimating square roots, percentages or detecting prime numbers. In addition, you are able to command the program to set memos, annotations or alarms with custom ringtones. If you want to try a virtual 3D assistant, you may use another piece of software called Ultra Hal Assistant.
