Biomes O Plenty is an expansive program package for Minecraft that includes up to ninety biomes that can be generated in your Minecraft world and Nether. To go along with the new environments, the modification provides trees, plants, flowers, building blocks, mobs, ores, and more.

New forests

After installing the mod, you will immediately notice a difference in the wide range of biomes to explore including several dense forests. Coniferous trees are now much more tightly packed with massive evergreens that block out light for as far as you explore them.

It is possible to come across actual redwood forests with even more massive trees. There are a variety of new jungles as well. If you want to delve deeper into the tropical theme, you may use another mod called Tropicraft.

The modification gives you the ability to visit several fungal based biomes. These are great resources for foraging for mushrooms. In one such area you may find Mushroom Island that has fields of red and brown fungus trees.

Fields and mountains

Aside from biomes themed around trees, the mod adds several fields and mountain ranges filled with lavender flowers and tall grass. It is also possible to find steep cliffs overlooking other valleys or bodies of water. There are even more surreal looking locations like the Mystic Beach, which is full of colorful blocks and trees along with lakes of purple water.
