Bible Verse Desktop is a lightweight program for Windows that gives you the means to display Bible verses on your screen. What is more, you are able to choose the background color and switch between different passages at a specified time.

Intuitive operation

After launching the app, you are greeted with a transparent box where the Bible verses are shown in a white font. There is no other graphical interface except the aforementioned window. Nevertheless, there is a special menu that provides access to various useful functions like copying verses, adjusting the text font, or specifying a time cycle. As for the latter setting, you may set the timer to go from ten to up to sixty minutes.

Additional capabilities

Besides the ability to shuffle the verses in automatic mode, you can change them manually. In order to do that, you need to left-click the box. It is necessary to point out that the transparent window may be dragged across the desktop.

In addition, you have the option to quickly access the wallpaper settings of your OS by selecting the appropriate item in the right-click menu. If you want to read different Bible translations, look up references and add notes, you may use another utility called e Sword.
