BatchDPG is a Windows software for adapting video clips to be playable on Nintendo DS. There is support for a wide range of input file formats, including AVI, MP4, MKV, WMV, FLV and MOV. It is important to note that AviSynth and K Lite Codeс Pack are necessary for the correct functioning of BatchDPG.

Overview

The main purpose of this program is creating video files compatible with Nintendo DS. It is possible to automatically detect and adjust the framerate of source content according to the predefined resolution and quality profile. Resulting clips can be watched on the console without stuttering or freezing via the MoonShell player. The maximum bitrate is customizable. You are able to change the number of passes for the encoding process.

Tools for adding subtitles to the converted video on the fly without rendering any additional steps are provided. There is support for the most common SRT, SSA and ASS caption formats.

Audio encoding

Users can transform input sound into mono mode to reduce the resulting DPG file size. This operation improves the compatibility with some older versions of MoonShell as well. Alternatively, there is an option to encode the audio in stereo mode for higher output quality.
