Baraha
Baraha is a Windows utility that allows you to write documents in various Indian languages without using a specialized keyboard layout. There is an included font converter.
Main purpose
This application provides instruments for creating text documents in multiple Indian languages. After starting the program users are prompted to select the required dialect and fonts.
You can enter Indian words phonetically with English letters in the Input window at the left bottom corner of the main interface. Like in varamozhi, all typed text is automatically converted to Indian script and displayed in the Output section. The window layout is customizable.
It is important to mention that the free trial version of Baraha will stop working 10 days after installation.
Text editing tools
There are flexible page layout settings. Users are able to import TXT, RTF and HTML files. Unicode and ANSI character sets are fully supported. Font parameters include the size and style of the letters as well as several paragraph alignment options.
Instruments for searching and replacing parts of the text are provided. Final results can be quickly sent to the printer.
