ArtRage is a Windows utility that lets users draw with a wide variety of brushes, pens and other instruments. Additionally, there is a library of visual filters and effects. Users are able to choose from a collection of canvas types.

Drawing process

This program offers you multiple tools for creating a picture. Several pens, pencils and other artistic instruments are available. Moreover, you can design custom brushes and save them for later use. Sliders for the pressure, thickness and depth are provided.

There are grids, guides and other helpful elements for constructing the image layout. These features are similar to Photoshop. A library of premade stencils and templates is included. The opacity, lighting angle, grain size, roughness and other advanced canvas parameters can be adjusted. It is possible to create a complex multilayer image and edit every element separately.

Additional capabilities

Users are able to rotate, resize and crop the image. The drawing process can be recorded and saved as a video file. Filters for adding the blur, noise and other visual effects are available. Scripted actions can be recorded for batch processing of similar files.

Please note that ArtRage is a paid software. The free trial version does not allow you to save or export the resulting picture.
