Arcsoft PhotoImpression is a graphic editor program for Windows that can be used by both novices and professionals. It comes with a wide range of templates and an extensive object library for enhancing images.

Initial configuration

The installation process takes a short amount of time. What is more, it gives you the ability to configure file associations. So, when you launch the application for the first time, you can scan your whole media library. It is possible to analyze individual or all folders, as well as schedule the task for another time.

General notes

The utility features an intuitive graphical user interface, which is easy to navigate through, thanks to the Explorer-based layout. It is split into the workspace that contains the preview area, the browser and the attach panels, and the main menu with an assortment of buttons.

The browser section contains Folder, Calendar and Search tabs, while the preview offers various tools, such as rotate image, batch resize, rename and convert, as well as the thumbnail display area and a right-click menu.

Functionality

By using the main buttons, you can import your photographs from a variety of storage and recording devices and edit them. You have the ability to create slideshows, add text, clip art, frames, edges and color effects like tone, swap or tint. It is also possible to send images via email, print or compress them into archives. Alternatively, you may use another software solution called Olympus Master.
