ArcSoft MediaConverter is a Windows software for transforming media files into various formats. It is possible to configure output video settings such as the bitrate and aspect ratio.

How to use

You can select the input source on the left side of the main window. There is support for video clips in AVI, WMF, MP4, MKV and other common containers. Moreover, you are able to rip the contents of a DVD-Video disc.

Images in BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, PSD and several other popular formats can be added to the project. Moreover, there are tools for importing MP3, WAV, OGG and AAC audio files as well as for ripping the soundtrack from a movie.

It is important to note that ArcSoft MediaConverter is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. It cannot be started in Windows 10 or newer. Users can download Hamster Video Converter to try a more modern solution.

Output parameters

There is a large selection of target devices from Apple, Google, Samsung, Motorola, Sony and other hardware manufacturers. Alternatively, you can choose one of the custom file formats. Every output device has additional settings such as the quality, picture resolution, resampling method and framerate.

After adjusting all required parameters users can click the Start button to begin the conversion process. The output directory is automatically opened when the operation is finished.
