Apache Commons Codec
Apache Commons Codec is a Windows software for converting binary information to and from various popular formats. Supported encoders include Base32, Base64, Hex and BinaryCodec.
Text data
This codec provides a set of tools and a simple framework for converting information from one encoding system to another. Both text and binary data types are supported. There is a digest utility for simplifying common MessageDigest tasks and implementing compatible password hashing functions. You are able to work with numerical strings obtained from Apache Ant or another similar application.
A collection of language encoders is provided. Users can quickly convert raw data to Caverphone, Cologne Phonetic, Metaphone or Refined Soundex values. Detailed algorithm descriptions are available in the included documentation.

The program offers you instruments for working with web traffic. The QCodec component is designed to allow ASCII characters to be decipherable on any standard terminal without decoding. Moreover, there is a program called URLCodec that is intended for detecting and decrypting URLs in data streams.
