AnyBurn is a Windows utility for burning compact discs and DVDs. It is possible to create an Audio CD from multiple songs in MP3, WAV, FLAC or other formats.

Main functionality

This application contains tools for building disc image files from any files and folders on the hard drive. You are able to select one of the included file systems such as ISO 9660, UDF, XBOX DVD and HFS. Custom labels for the publisher, data preparer, copyright and bibliographical ID can be added. There are additional compression parameters for minimizing the final disc image size. All contents can be encrypted and protected with a password.

After creating a file it is possible to burn it to the blank media. Users can adjust the writing speed and select the option to verify the data after the process is complete. Additionally, there is a checkbox for ejecting the disc after burning and finalizing the recording so no more information can be written.

Like in Nero, you are able to copy one disc to another and erase all contents from a rewritable CD or DVD.

Hardware information

Users can display the drive firmware version, serial number, buffer capacity as well as maximum reading and writing speeds. There is a list of all supported media. If the disc is inserted users are able to view its type, manufacturer and number of previous writing sessions. The amount of free and used space is available as well.
