Amarok is a Windows software that contains an audio player. Supported file formats include MP3, WAV, OGG and WMA. Additionally, you can design custom automation scripts and scenarios to expand the basic capabilities. There is an embedded multiband equalizer for tuning individual frequencies.

Music database

Users are able to create and manage personal song collections from files located on a hard drive or an external storage device. It is possible to add custom cover images for specific albums. There is an option to import audio tracks from iTunes and several popular web platforms.

The program offers you an online store for purchasing the music. Instruments for generating personal recommendations based on previously liked songs are available.

Playback options

There is a panel with standard control buttons for stopping, pausing and skipping the current track at the top of the main window. Users can rearrange the items in the playlist. Tools for broadcasting the live audio output to the network are provided as well.

You are able to adjust high, middle and low frequencies in the included equalizer. There are multiple presets for different genres.
