AlphOmega Elliott Waves is a program for Windows designed to display Elliott waves count, price and duration projections. It is necessary to note that the wave count is calculated from individual definitions, their relationships in size or and a specific hierarchy.

General notes

The utility is intended as a basis for analysis. Thus, interpretation is required when dealing with Eliott waves. However, the basic rules are strictly enforced within the set. The import is done automatically. This means, all you need to do is open a chart and right-click to select a template of your choice. The available categories contain such indicators as price and volume data, as well as more specific ones like Exponential Moving Averages on Close, AO Elliott Oscillator or AO PTF Indicator.

Initial data and unusual situations

If you are looking at the oldest price data you have for a security, you will find that the wave count is undefined. This may cause strange patterns to appear until there is enough information. The long and deep waves are mostly subjected to this issue.

In case you are handling a very volatile security, you will go through all the required cycles very quickly. Another problem arises when a security enters a consolidation period. This means that the price is trading in a narrow range and forming sideway or triangular patterns. Alternatively, you may try another software solution called MetaTrader.
