AlphaEaseFC is a Windows utility that allows you to take, edit and analyze photos of scientific samples. There is support for various models of Alpha Innotech devices, including the DE500 MultiImage cabinet. It is important to note that AlphaEaseFC is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Image acquisition

Users can preview the picture in Focus Mode, which enables precise sample positioning and optical adjustments. Tools for optimizing the resulting image quality and sensitivity based on the project requirements are provided as well.

Other programs for processing scientific data such as SigmaPlot are available for download.

Edition instruments

It is possible to enhance captured photos by adjusting the contrast, brightness and gamma. Additionally, there is a large selection of advanced color filtering techniques. Pictures can be rotated, resized and cropped to focus on specific regions of interest.

Analysis

You are able to measure the intensity of individual bands to quantify protein or nucleic acid expression. Moreover, an option to automatically determine the weight of individual molecules in a sample is included.
