Ali Dvr Export Tool is a Windows application that lets you transform DVR recordings into TS video files. Resulting items can be converted to a standard MKV format with the help of MKVToolnix or another similar utility.

What are DVR files

These packages are designed for storing television programs recorded by a digital TV tuner. All clips are encoded in the MPEG-2 format. Moreover, DVR files contain advanced metadata such as capture time and image settings. Recordings can be viewed in VLC Media Player directly without any additional actions.

Conversion process

After starting the utility users can drag and drop DVR files into the workspace. Alternatively, there is an Open button for manually navigating to the required directory.

Imported clips are displayed in the form of a list. It can be sorted by name, start time, duration, size and other attributes.

You are able to select multiple files and quickly convert them to the TS format by clicking the Save button on the main toolbar. It is possible to modify resulting clips in all popular video editors such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
