AIV DVD Cutter is a simple program for Windows with which you can open and extract a specific part of a movie as a separate file. It is necessary to mention that you have the ability to import videos only in VOB format.

The application comes equipped with an intuitive and user-friendly graphical interface. What is more, it can act as both a DVD player and a multimedia editor. In order to cut out a clip, all you need to do is specify the start and the endpoints, then save the created selection as a standalone file with VOB extension. It is also possible to view the total length before exporting the segment.

Intuitive controls

When previewing the video, you are able to use standard controls such as Play and Pause, while the Stop button lets you quickly jump to the beginning of the clip. To make sure that you have the part you want, you are able to replay it within the main panel, either in windowed or full-screen mode. This means, you have the ability to adjust the length in a desired setting.

Once you have created a segment, you can rely on the program to start a new project without needing to shut it down, then launch it again. There are also alternative utilities available such as AVS Video Editor and VOB2MPG.
