AirDrop is a Windows app that enables sharing files, website links and location information to other devices nearby. You can send photos, videos and documents via wireless network connection.

Connection

The program does not require any prior configuration. However, both devices must be connected to the same wireless network to start transferring files. Naturally, AirDrop support on a smartphone or tablet is required. It is also possible to send information using Bluetooth.

Data transfer

With this program, you may share images, videos, music tracks, presentations and text documents. Similarly, sending data like links, location and notes is also supported. Conveniently, you can select the AirDrop method in the context menu of the desired file. After that, you are able to specify the recipient from the displayed list of available devices.

Additionally, it is possible to get data sent by other users. You need to grant permission to receive files. The program allows you to select and change the name of your device that will be displayed on the sender screen.

It is worth noting that you can only send files to smartphones, tablets and other Apple devices that support AirDrop technology.
