Advanced IP Scanner is a Windows program that allows you to analyze and manage your network devices. With it, you can create your own favorite list and connect to other PCs using Radmin.

Intuitive tool

Similar to a point-and-shoot camera, this application can find computers and show you their resources with a simple push of a button. As soon as you click the Scan button, the tool will start to display the results, allowing you to view the progress in real-time.

The retrieved information includes status, name, IP and MAC address for all the computers and smartphones connected to your network. If you want to discover open or closed ports, you may use another utility called Advanced Port Scanner.

Additional functions

Besides presenting helpful information about various devices, the program comes with a set of functions designed to help you remotely manage PCs. For example, you can use Wake-On-LAN or Shut down commands.

Moreover, the software supports HTTP, HTTPS and FTP protocols and is also able to scan for NETBIOS name and group. The data as well as the usage of remote commands are limited to machines running on Windows operating systems.

An extra set of features becomes available from the Operations menu, if you install Radmin. This extends the capabilities of this tool and provides you with options like for file transferring and chatting.
