Advanced EFS Data Recovery is a compact program for Windows designed to help you recover encrypted files from NTFS drives. It features a simple graphical user interface that gives you the ability to set up the scanning process for desired items.

Intuitive operation

The application allows you to select a disk to be scanned for keys, add information about the username and password, upload data from dictionary files, insert SYSKEY startup information, as well as specify the certificate. What is more, it comes with backup capabilities and gives you the option to restore items.

It is necessary to note that the software provides time estimation for completing the task and shows the number of scanned files and encrypted items. Please note, the operation length depends on the size of the files on the disk.

Advanced capabilities

Additionally, the program offers quick access to the data stored on your personal computer. This means you can easily select the encrypted files. The decrypted items are highlighted in green, while the entries that are still protected are displayed in red. If you want to lock certain items, you may also use another tool called NTFS Access.

Moreover, you have the option to enable the logging process by specifying the name of the file and the source directory. It is also possible to limit the size of the log to a predefined value and overwrite the existing files.
