ActiveReports is a comprehensive Windows program based on NET Framework. With it, you can generate reports using an intuitive integrated designer, feature-rich controls and flexible API.

This utility allows you to design, customize, publish and view .NET reports. You can create code-free reports with the dedicated Designer app. In addition, the platform gives you the ability to utilize a fast and powerful engine in order to develop complex information documents and export them in different formats.

Reports

You can generate reports using different layouts depending on your requirements. The software supports the following types:

Page report: RDL-like pages with predefined layout pages but without the growing capability.
RDL report, which is similar to the MS SSRS format with various extensions and limitations. In general, you are able to use Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, however, there are complicated cases that may require importing.

In a RDL report, controls can both grow and shrink to accommodate data. In addition, you are also able to set up interactive sorting, up drill-down reports and drill-through links to other reports and to bookmark links within reports.
