Acronis Disk Director is a comprehensive program for Windows that gives you the ability to perform hard disk operations, with an emphasis on partition management and recovery. Besides volume manipulation tasks, you can view the structure of your HDD device in a detailed manner.

Overview

The application provides a wide array of features that are found in similar solutions like Aomei Partition Assistant. It consists of three components, namely a partition manager, a recovery module and a bootable media creator. Please note that both UEFI and BIOS-based computers are supported.

Main capabilities

The first one allows you to perform a variety of operations on disk volumes, such as merging, copying, resizing, formatting and moving partitions. Thus, it is possible to reorganize the structure of your hard disk drive with relative ease.

The Recovery Expert is dedicated to getting back lost or deleted partitions. This means you are able to repair and troubleshoot disk failures that occur as a result of software issues or virus attacks. If you want to create Windows bootable drives, you may use a dedicated wizard that is part of the Bootable Media Builder module.
