Able2Extract is a Windows application for managing PDF documents. Users can transfer tabulated data with all formatting to Microsoft Excel for further analysis. Instruments for extracting text and images from scanned PDF files are available.

Main functionality

After starting the software you can import a document for processing. There is an OCR module for automatically recognizing the text on images and converting them to an editable form. It is possible to select specific pages that will be transformed to another format.

Users are able to export PDFs to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD. Moreover, there are options for saving the data as a
text file or an image.

Advanced settings

Encryption parameters let you configure permissions for managing access to the document. Checkboxes for allowing printing, copying and modifying the contents without entering the password are provided.

Every output option has additional formatting settings for achieving the best results. For example, users can export to Word only text or include images.
