5zig is a flexible modification for Minecraft designed to be applicable to several different game modes. However, its most useful features appear in PvP. Please note that it connects to Discord, which is helpful for players against people they have met online. Moreover, the program comes with a fully customizable HUD, which displays information, such as FPS, ping, system status and more.

Brief review

The application gives you the possibility to choose from over twenty different capes or upload your own images and create custom ones. It is necessary to point out that the cosmetics are only visible to players using the same mod.

Similar to Aether, you can connect with your friends, make parties and chat with them directly in-game. Due to the popularity of the project, it is available in fifteen languages and may be customized by downloading and installing additional plugins.

Custom capes

The utility allows you to upload your own capes and elytra styles which can even be animated. All assets use the same format as textures in Resource packs. Thus, each frame is below the previous one but the speed is set by the mod. You have the ability to make static and animated cape and elytra styles using Gimp, Paint.NET and Photoshop.
