5KPlayer is a Windows program for playing back video and audio files. Moreover, there are instruments for downloading clips from YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram and thousands of other popular media platforms. Users are able to explore 360° videos.

Playback

The main window contains buttons for opening a video file from the hard drive, starting a DVD movie and connecting to an online broadcast via URL. Additionally, you can listen to music.

Similar to EzCast, there is full support for the DLNA technology. It allows users to access files located on a central media server from all machines attached to the local network. Apple devices can be connected wirelessly via AirPlay.

Content catalog

You are able to view the list of online radio stations and live TV channels. The playback speed is customizable. An option to add individual items to the favorite list for quick access is included.

Users can download videos from a wide range of common media platforms. There are flexible output quality settings. It is possible to change the default target directory for new media files as well.
