3D Canine Anatomy
3D Canine Anatomy is a Windows program designed to help veterinary students and professors study canine anatomy. It enables them to explore the digital model of the animal and learn about it through adaptive quizzes.
Functionality
The application features a clean and intuitive interface which makes it easy to rotate, zoom, explore and virtually dissect the medically accurate canine model. The process is somewhat similar to working with 3D modeling tools like Unity.
Users are able to see each layer and body part of the animal separately. They can also hide components, isolate regions, and visualize the spatial relationship between anatomical structures. Moreover, users have the option to switch between various viewing modes that provide additional information in the form of explanatory notes.
Interactive learning
The content for this software was developed in collaboration with world renowned educational institutions and is based on both CT and MRI medical imaging. 3D Canine Anatomy provides a common base for study and reference.
You can capture frequent camera positions, point out important structures and create your own library of personalized study material. Additionally, you have the option to test your knowledge by solving quizzes. The utility has over 700 professionally written questions.
